Agentic artificial intelligence is here, and Splunk is meeting the moment with deeper Google Cloud integration, from its next-generation Victoria architecture to MCP-powered AI agents, said Tom Stoner, area vice president of solutions sales at Splunk.
Splunk’s Victoria Experience, now available on Google Cloud, delivers next-generation architecture built for speed and scalability. Stoner said customers in the cloud roll out use cases three times faster than self-managed environments.
“I want my first and second line of defense to be agents,” Stoner said, reflecting on how enterprise security teams are rethinking their operating models.
In this video interview with ISMG at Google Cloud Next 2026, Stoner also discussed:
How the Splunk MCP server bridges AI systems like Google Gemini with real-time security data;
Engineering advances, including Vertex AI observability and workload identity federation;
What enterprise beta customers are demanding for private connectivity and secure, high-performance data paths at scale.
Stoner drives cloud strategy and revenue growth for large-scale organizations. With more than a decade at Splunk, he has played a key role in helping enterprises modernize their operations through secure, data-driven platforms and cloud transformation initiatives.
