The bulk of the revenue, about $430.1 million, came from business with xAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence venture. Tesla had first disclosed that figure in January.

In the updated filing released on Thursday, Tesla also revealed an additional $143.3 million in revenue from dealings with SpaceX, a number that had not been included in the company’s original annual report.

Earlier this month, Bloomberg News reported that SpaceX likely purchased more than $100 million worth of Cybertruck vehicles in the fourth quarter of last year, potentially contributing significantly to the newly disclosed revenue figure.

Musk’s companies have frequently operated with close commercial ties through investments, supply arrangements and overlapping personnel. xAI buys Tesla’s Megapack battery storage systems, while Tesla has integrated xAI’s Grok chatbot into its vehicles.

Musk has also recently outlined plans for Tesla and SpaceX to work together on a chip production initiative, deepening links between the two firms.

In February, SpaceX acquired xAI, bringing together rocket launches, satellite operations, AI technology and future space-based data centre ambitions under one umbrella.

Tesla’s latest filing also showed continued business with xAI this year, disclosing about $78.1 million in revenue from the AI company through February.
