Anthropic has now announced a major boost to its Claude Code usage limits after announced a new partnership with Elon Musk’s SapceX Colossus One data center. The company has now revealed that the Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise subscribers will now enjoy double the five-hour rate limits, while peak-hour restrictions have been removed for Pro and Max accounts. Along with tis, the Claude Opus API limits have been raised significantly, giving developers more throughput for advanced workloads. These changes are designed to ease the strain on users who have been pushing the service to its limits amid surging demand. “We’ve agreed to a partnership with SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity. This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API,” said the company.

“The following three changes—all effective today—are aimed at improving the experience of using Claude for our most dedicated customers.First, we’re doubling Claude Code’s five-hour rate limits for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans.Second, we’re removing the peak hours limit reduction on Claude Code for Pro and Max accounts.Third, we’re raising our API rate limits considerably for Claude Opus models,” added the company.
Anthropic partnered with SpaceX
Anthropic announced a major partnership with Elon Musk’s SpaceX, securing the compute capacity of the “Colossus 1” data centre to power its AI models. The agreement marks a significant expansion for Anthropic as it ramps up its infrastructure to compete with industry rivals like OpenAI. The deal gives Anthropic access to over 300 megawatts of new capacity, which is equivalent to more than 220,000 Nvidia GPUs, within the next month.“We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity.
