A Mason teenager is facing serious charges after investigators allegedly found AI-generated sexual images of underage classmates in his possession. Mason City Schools officials said there are multiple investigations that have been started, looking into the possibility of students using artificial intelligence to create pornographic material. A Mason police report obtained by WLWT lists a teenager as a suspect who has been charged with 51 counts of pandering sexually oriented content involving a minor, which is a felony in Ohio. According to the police report, officers found the images on devices after getting a search warrant for the teenager’s home. Police said that teenager was arrested and the case is going through the juvenile court system. A victim’s mother said an officer told her that they had identified her daughter in the photos being investigated. “He had found photos online and had then altered them so it looked like she was wearing nothing. It was not her body, obviously because it’s AI-generated, but it was her face still,” the mother said.
