Cheyenne, Wyo. – To help statewide businesses utilize Artificial Intelligence resources, the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce is connecting small business owners to a free AI course.

CEO of the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce Dale Steenbergen says, “AI is one of those things that can either be your best friend or worst enemy.”

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Google to initiate the free online and in person course, Small Business B(AI)sics. The Wyoming Chamber of Commerce writes that 76% of businesses are using artificial intelligence, and this course is designed to help businesses across the state keep up with the evolution of technology. Steenbergen says, “It can help with sales, and marketing, and supply chains… Ways that uses technology to drive our economy forward.”

Steenbergen adds, artificial intelligence has a large benefit for small business owners in Wyoming to combat rural business barriers such as having limited resources. And utilizing AI can fill employment gaps which will help businesses grow.

Local business owner Amber Kester of Beach Please Drink Company tells Wyoming News Now, her business has done it’s best to capitalize on social media platforms. Kester says, “For us, advertising is huge because it’s one of the ways we can advertise for free.”

But in the fast-paced technology world, courses like small business basics is a great resource to learn from to save time and expand outreach.

Kester says, “We have to keep up with the times, if you don’t change and evolve, eventually you’re just left behind.”

The free Google course is now live and available to all business owners. To access click here.
