Ag Growth International Inc. (AGI) is channeling millions of dollars into its site in Clay Center, Kansas, to introduce US manufacturing of 4-inch corrugated farm grain bins and bolster its North American production network.

Strategic Production Alignment

This initiative forms part of AGI’s extended plan to match output with client needs in primary grain regions, aiming to boost reaction speed, quicken manufacturing pace, and offer storage options nearer to American agricultural customers.

The Clay Center operation currently makes various grain-moving equipment such as augers, bin unloads, bucket elevators, towers, catwalks, both portable and fixed chains and paddles, plus incline drag and en masse conveyors.

Paul Brisebois, AGI’s president and chief executive, stated that the endeavor shows the firm’s dedication to enhancing and harmonizing its North American production footprint where clients are located. He remarked that incorporating bin capacity in the core of the US grain belt situates manufacturing nearer to the buyer, boosting responsiveness, fortifying supply chain durability, and improving service to farmers and dealers.

The Clay Center enlargement returns farm storage production to the United States. In combination with AGI’s St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada, site, it will boost total bin capacity and establish a more adaptable, unified North American production network, according to the company.

Apart from operational effects, the bin expansion underscores AGI’s lasting dedication to economic progress in Clay Center, Clay County, and the state of Kansas, the firm noted.

Mike Baker, plant manager at AGI Clay Center, indicated that the expansion will aid regional employment growth as new functions become active. He called this a significant advance for the crew and the locality, adding that bin production is anticipated to start in spring 2027, generating fresh positions and expanding upon the solid base at Clay Center to foster ongoing growth.
