VILNIUS, Lithuania – Planner 5D has launched AI Design Agents, calling it the first specialized AI agents built specifically for interior design.

The launch marks the next stage in the evolution of AI-powered design software. AI Design Agents are designed to perform specialized design roles and actively participate in the creative process. The release builds on Planner 5D‘s recent AI Studio, an AI-native workspace that combines concept generation, floor planning, furnishing, restyling, render enhancement and presentations in a single environment.

With this update, AI Studio evolves from a collection of AI tools into a collaborative AI-powered design team.

Inside AI Studio, agents can:

Review design canvases and identify opportunities for improvement
Generate creative directions and design concepts
Create multiple design variations
Edit and refine reference images
Organize project materials and design assets
Prepare presentation-ready outputs
Build storyboards and visual narratives

“AI is entering a new phase,” said Andrey Ustyugov, CEO of Planner 5D. “The next generation of AI will not just generate images or ideas; it will execute complete design workflows. With AI Design Agents, users get an entire team of interior design specialists working for them in the background, while they focus on what matters most.”

Planner 5D has been investing in AI-powered design technology since 2016, when it introduced floor plan recognition capable of converting floor plan images into editable 3D models. Since then, the company has expanded its AI capabilities across visualization, space planning, furnishing, design generation, and creative workflows.
