Wialon launched the Wialon ChatGPT App to let fleet managers, dispatchers, and executives access Wialon account data through natural-language conversation inside ChatGPT.
The app, now available in the ChatGPT App Marketplace, allows users to ask operational questions instead of navigating menus or building reports. Wialon said the app can return structured answers, summaries, maps, and insights covering fleet status, trips, mileage, fuel consumption, notifications, and quick analytics.
The goal is to give different fleet roles faster access to the information they need for daily decisions. A dispatcher could ask which vehicles are currently at the depot, while a fleet manager could ask what needs attention that day. Executives could use the app to pull a fuel efficiency summary or broader performance overview.
Wialon Targets Faster Access to Fleet Data
Fleet operations generate large amounts of data, but Wialon said finding the right information quickly remains a challenge. The Wialon ChatGPT App is designed to shift that process from report-building to question-asking.
“One of the things we’ve learned over the years is that fleets rarely struggle with a lack of data. More often, they struggle with finding the right information quickly enough,” said Aliaksandr Kuushynau, head of Wialon. “What excites me about this launch is that it changes the starting point. Instead of thinking about reports, menus, or filters, users can start with the question they want answered.”
Kuushynau said the app is meant to reduce the need for users to know where specific information lives inside the platform.
“For the first time, users don’t need to know where the answer lives,” Kuushynau said. “They simply need to know what they want to understand about their business.”
Part of Broader AI Strategy
The ChatGPT app is one piece of Wialon’s broader AI strategy. The company also launched Lona, an AI assistant designed to handle partner inquiries across the Help Center and My Requests portal, including technical, financial, and operational topics.
