Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence ambitions are getting a fresh coat of paint to match their new corporate home. xAI has finished its rebranding into SpaceXAI, unveiling a brand new logo that blends the visual identities of both xAI and SpaceX into a single design.
SpaceXAI revealed its updated identity in a post shared by the official X account this week, accompanied by a simple message: “We are now @SpaceXAI.” The post included a video showcasing a sleek new logo that unifies the branding of the newly formed division with its parent company.

Blending Two Iconic Designs
The new layout acts as a literal mashup of the SpaceX and xAI corporate logos. The graphic designers took the unique, stylized A from the standalone SpaceX branding and slotted it directly into the original xAI logo. To finish the design, the emblem takes the famous swooping X from the SpaceX logo and uses it for the X in XAI, which is now fully capitalized.

This visual merge completes a major corporate restructuring. The fresh graphics mark the completion of xAI’s transition from Musk’s standalone AI startup to a subsidiary of SpaceX, a move that was originally put into motion when SpaceX acquired xAI earlier this spring. The newly branded division is positioned to play an essential role in future SpaceX projects. This integration is even more crucial now that SpaceX is publicly trading on the open market as one of the most valuable companies in the world, with a market cap of nearly $2 trillion at the time of writing.
Earlier this week, SpaceX filed an official application with the FCC to launch and operate 100,000 next-generation satellites. These advanced constellations are being deployed to do much more than just beam down high-speed internet to rural homeowners. Instead, the orbital hardware is also designed to build out massive AI compute capacity directly in space. SpaceXAI will have a major part in developing the digital architecture for these ambitious space-based data centers.
