The company has been expanding the <a href=\"https:\/\/phandroid.com\/2026\/04\/18\/ai-mode-for-google-chrome-just-got-a-new-upgrade\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">roll-out of its Gemini and AI services<\/a> lately, which are now gradually arriving for devices and users worldwide.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"pxfbr\">In this instance though, Google says that Chrome\u2019s new AI tools will now be available in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Vietnam. This includes AI-powered web browsing summaries, integration with Google services like Calendar, Gmail and Maps, as well as Personal Intelligence and Nano Banana support. Google says that it\u2019s also beefed up security for the roll-out, stating:<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"pxfbr\">Our models are trained to recognize known threats, like\u00a0prompt injection, and include safeguards to ask for confirmation before completing sensitive actions.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"87skd\">In other recent Google news, the company also confirmed the arrival <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products-and-platforms\/products\/photos\/new-touch-up-tools-google-photos\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">of new facial image touch-up tools<\/a>, which are found in Google Photos\u2019 editor function. The tools are designed to give users the option of removing small imperfections in photographs via new software tricks, and includes heal, smooth, under eyes, irises, teeth, eyebrows or lips.
