Google Cloud described the case as its largest domestic enterprise agentic AI deployment to date.

Samsung Electronics DX division employees will use the Gemini Enterprise app as an intelligence-based conversational collaboration space. The app goes beyond a simple standalone chatbot to serve as a centralized gateway connecting fragmented internal systems. Employees can search and synthesize diverse data within the organization in real time for their work, shifting from work centered on simple data retrieval to a guide-based, proactive problem-solving approach.

Furthermore, Samsung Electronics plans to introduce customized multi-step AI agents that autonomously manage complex corporate workflows. To this end, the company plans to build a data environment and operating system specialized for multi-step AI agents together with Google Cloud.

The two companies also set a goal of “company-wide AI democratization,” in which not only development staff but also non-development staff can create AI agents themselves. Google Cloud plans to support personnel in operational departments such as human resources and marketing so they can build customized AI agents optimized for their work through a no-code method.

“In the agentic era, true work innovation becomes possible when we move beyond simple productivity tools to a stage of deep operational intelligence,” said Ruth Sun, President of Google Cloud Korea. “Gemini Enterprise will be the starting point for Samsung Electronics to enter enterprise AI, and a secure foundation that accelerates business innovation on a global scale.”

Google Cloud logo.
