Moreover, they are located mainly near African-American communities, where, according to experts, the prevalence of lung diseases is already above average.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reuters notes that this case demonstrates the sharp increase in energy demand for data centers designed for artificial intelligence. This demand is forcing technology companies to build their own power plants quickly. At the same time, environmental regulators often lack the time to keep up with this process, which can pose health and environmental risks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The investigation found that the actual number of turbines installed without permits is nearly double xAI\u2019s previous claims. The company had previously said it had 27 turbines in operation as of January and had insisted that they did not require federal permits.
