\"Why<\/a><\/p>\n

Beacon Security,<\/a> a platform focused on agentic cybersecurity, has raised $13m in seed funding to develop a trusted data layer designed to help security teams and AI agents defend enterprises against emerging threats.<\/p>\n

The round was led by Notable Capital, with participation from Holly Ventures, AlphaDrive Ventures, SVCI and Jefferies Family Office. More than 60 founders and chief information security officers also joined the round, including leaders behind Talon, Descope, Gem Security, Dig Security and Cider Security.<\/p>\n

The investment follows rapid commercial growth, with Beacon reporting annual recurring revenue increased by more than 300% in the first half of 2026. The company said dozens of enterprises across sectors including financial services, insurance and hospitality are using its platform as organisations adapt to an environment where AI has become both a new attack surface and a potential tool for attackers.<\/p>\n

Beacon said the funding will support its development of an AI-native security infrastructure layer that enables organisations to deploy autonomous security workflows while improving data quality, visibility and threat response.<\/p>\n

Beacon\u2019s platform is built around three core capabilities: a security data layer, an agentic workflow platform and a library of pre-built security agents.<\/p>\n

Its Data Layer consolidates telemetry from multiple security vendors, automates data normalisation and enrichment, and provides analysts and AI agents with a unified view of security environments. The platform also continuously maps security coverage against evolving threats and compliance requirements.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s agentic work platform allows security teams to create and run AI-powered workflows across areas including detection engineering, investigations and security posture analysis.<\/p>\n

Beacon\u2019s library of security agents is designed to identify complex threats, including cross-source lateral movement, AI-driven attacks and emerging attacker techniques. The company is also developing agents focused on shadow AI analysis and automated alert triage.<\/p>\n

The funding follows the launch of Beacon\u2019s agentic data layer, which sits between security telemetry sources and downstream tools to automate data preparation while reducing engineering demands.<\/p>\n

Beacon CEO and co-founder Gal Tal-Hochberg said AI adoption was creating demand for a new security architecture built around trusted data.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe acceleration of AI agents in the enterprise is creating a distinct need for a legible context layer for cyber defenders,\u201d Tal-Hochberg said.<\/p>\n

Notable Capital managing partner and Beacon board member Oren Yunger commented that security teams face growing challenges around data reliability as AI agents become more widely deployed.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery CISO knows the real bottleneck isn\u2019t detection; it\u2019s trust in your own data,\u201d Yunger said.<\/p>\n
