A secure cloud computer gives Gemini Notebook a remote environment that writes and runs code against material collected in a notebook. Google puts the product\u2019s current reach at more than 30 million people and 600,000 organizations. Independent verification of those counts is unavailable.<\/p>\n
Initial eligibility covers subscribers to Google\u2019s top AI tier and eligible Workspace business customers. Pro subscribers are expected to receive web access over the coming weeks. Notebook access through Google Search\u2019s AI Mode is also planned, but has no disclosed launch date.<\/p>\n
What the New Name Changes and What It Does Not <\/p>\n
Google is phasing the Gemini Notebook name and updated logo into its interfaces rather than switching every account at once. Starting July 16, the extended rollout may take longer than 15 days<\/a> for feature visibility, affecting eligible Workspace and personal-account users. Automatic redirects will preserve existing shared notebooks and user links without administrator action.<\/p>\n Collaborators should be able to keep opening shared notebooks through existing links as branding changes reach different accounts.<\/p>\n Notebooks created in the Gemini app already sync to the standalone service, and Gemini can use their content as a source.
