Samsung’s Galaxy Glasses launch at Unpacked London with Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1, Google Gemini, a built-in camera, and up to 9-hour battery. Two designs via Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. Pricing is unavailable as of writing, and it’s limited to select markets only.<\/p>\n

Samsung<\/a> launched its Galaxy Glasses at Unpacked in London today. They have been developed in collaboration with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. The glasses run on the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform, pair exclusively with Samsung Galaxy smartphones, and carry Google Gemini<\/a> as their primary AI engine. <\/p>\n

There is no display. The glasses deliver AI assistance through audio output and a built-in camera that feeds visual info to Gemini. Core functions include real-time translation, live navigation, message summarization, and the ability to capture what the wearer sees \u2014 a whiteboard or meeting, for example \u2014 and pipe it directly into Samsung Notes. During calls, users can share a live view of what the camera sees, hands-free.<\/p>\n

Controls are touch-based on the frame. Gesture control is also available but requires a Galaxy Watch 9<\/a>. Battery life is rated at up to 9 hours per charge, with the included case providing up to 7 additional full charges. The glasses run on Android XR<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Samsung launched two frame designs. The Gentle Monster edition uses a slim black frame with a straight top line and rounded lower edge. The Warby Parker version goes with a tortoise brown finish and a subtle arched browline. This is the more conventional model for everyday wear. <\/p>\n

Availability is limited to select markets. Pricing is unavailable at the time of writing.<\/p>\n
