It’s a powerful, fast-evolving technology that will reshape how we work, change how we create, and force society to adapt in real time,” ChatGPT answered this week when I asked about AI’s role in the future.

It’s not a bad answer. But I could have said it better myself. So we did.

This week, at Vogue Business, we’re looking at what comes next for AI in the context of fashion, beauty, and luxury, with a collection of 10 articles and corresponding images — all created using human intelligence.

Amy O’Brien, our tech editor, starts us off with a scene-setter, examining where AI will take fashion in the next 10 years. Amy was pretty busy this time around; she also wrote an AI shopping deep dive and surveyed Vogue readers about their wants from AI in fashion, together with Maliha Shoaib. The two will be hosting a LinkedIn Live later this evening to further unpack the survey’s findings.

Maliha, in turn, also looked at the AI race and its impact on global luxury markets. Elsewhere, Lucy Maguire wondered whether AI will kill the creator economy, and Madeleine Schulz queried if it could ever really crack personal style. Hikmat Mohammed and Bella Webb looked at what AI means for beauty and sustainability, respectively.

When it comes to images, Niall Wilson, Aurelia Lorimer, and photographer Shahram Saadat came up with unique concepts for every single lead, inspired by AI but created in their entirety by humans.

Finally, Hilary Milnes asks possibly my favorite question of the season: is AI just, like, basic? You couldn’t have come up with this headline on ChatGPT, could you?

This article is part of the Future of AI, a collection of articles that investigates how artificial intelligence…

[2
24,25,8205,9449
0":"post-11714","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-ai","8":"tag-ai","9":"tag-artificial-intelligence","10":"tag-latest","11":"tag-the-future-of-ai
["GET
