‘Big Short’ investor Michael Burry questioned the need for a “ChatGPT moment” in humanoid robotics early Wednesday, saying generative artificial intelligence had already delivered its biggest breakthrough, as Tesla Inc. and other companies bet on human-like machines as the next growth market. <\/p>\n

Burry was responding to a Nikkei report quoting a senior executive at Chinese humanoid robot maker AgiBot, who said the robotics industry remains two to five years away from a “GPT moment”. <\/p>\n
