Cyera brings its data security expertise, while Oasis contributes its identity governance technology built for autonomous agents, giving the merged offering visibility over which identity sits behind each agent, what access it requests, which data that access touches, and the business context that reveals what is at stake.

The rationale for the tie-up lies in the speed at which AI agents have jumped from pilot projects into live production environments. These agents reason and take actions across core business systems, meaning one holding legitimate credentials could leak sensitive information or halt operations through a single flawed decision, with no attacker involved.

Traditional identity frameworks, designed around human users and slow-moving standing permissions, struggle with agents that spin up in seconds, act independently and disappear within an hour. Gartner forecasts that the average global Fortune 500 enterprise will run more than 150,000 agents by 2028, compared with fewer than 15 in 2025, pushing non-human identity onto board agendas.

Oasis Security was established on the belief that non-human identities represented the most dangerous unmanaged exposure in enterprise security. Over three years, the firm has helped some of the world’s biggest enterprises replace static permissions with continuous, policy-driven control governing which workloads and agents can access resources, in what context and for how long.

For customers, the company said the Oasis Platform will carry on unchanged, with the same team focused on non-human identity and agentic access and the existing roadmap continuing, backed by greater resources and richer business context for access decisions.

Read the daily FinTech news

Copyright © 2026 FinTech Global

Investors

The following investor(s) were tagged in this article.

Oasis Security, a non-human identity security specialist founded in 2022, has signed a letter of intent to be…

[6
4211,405,7537,11469,11540,10346,18357,61911
post-122675","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-agentic-ai","tag-acquisition","tag-ai-agents","tag-artificial-intelligence-agents","tag-cybertech","tag-cyera","tag-data-security","tag-non-human-identity","tag-oasis-security
["GET
