The raise lifts Hush’s total funding to $41m, less than a year after the company emerged from stealth.

The scale of the problem Hush is targeting is growing rapidly. Gartner forecasts that the average Fortune 500 business will operate upwards of 150,000 AI agents by 2028, a dramatic leap from under 15 only a year ago.

Despite this, Omdia research suggests 96% of organisations govern these agents through frameworks never designed for autonomous software. Because agents act independently within sensitive enterprise environments, they demand robust identity, attribution, observability and control, an area most firms have yet to address.

Hush provides a sanctioned route for AI agents to operate across enterprise systems. Each agent is enrolled in a central registry, removed from standing credentials and issued scoped just-in-time (JIT) permissions at runtime, with all activity logged and a centralised kill switch available.

The platform’s expansion to the agentic workforce enables companies to discover every desktop assistant, enterprise AI agent and custom-built agent, whether managed or shadow, and map the MCPs, tools and resources each can access.

It also allows firms to govern from a single point, registering agents against existing permissions and enforcing least agency by default, while maintaining a full audit trail to support security investigations, governance and compliance.

The technology is already being adopted in the field. Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, has rolled out Hush internally and started reselling the platform to its own enterprise customers.

The new capital will fund growth of Hush’s engineering and sales operations, with a US focus, accelerate support for enterprise IAM and agentic ecosystems through deeper Enterprise AI platform integrations, and broaden corporate partnerships.

Hush Security CEO and co-founder Micha Rave said, “Every company already knows how to manage identity for its people and its applications. But now software acts autonomously, on its own initiative, inside your most sensitive systems. AI agents need strict identity, not just API keys. We solved that for non-human identities, and now we’re extending governance to AI agents.”

Stay ahead of the threats and deals shaping the industry.
