{"id":123926,"date":"2026-07-30T07:20:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T07:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/123926\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T07:20:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T07:20:10","slug":"robinhoods-ai-trading-agents-have-over-100000-users-but-ceo-vlad-tenev-admits-the-models-sometimes-fi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/123926\/","title":{"rendered":"Robinhood\u2019s AI Trading Agents Have Over 100,000 Users\u2014 but CEO Vlad Tenev Admits the Models Sometimes \u2018Fi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Would You Let an AI Agent Trade Your Life Savings?<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">Robinhood has since expanded the feature to support options trading, with crypto integration expected next.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">\u201cWe\u2019ve had over 100,000 people actually integrate and open up Agentic accounts,\u201d Tenev said, adding that both assets under management and trading volumes on the platform have continued to grow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">However, Tenev said one of the biggest hurdles has been the user experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">\u201cNot everyone loves, surprisingly, going to a Codex or a Claude code and kind of stitching together these two apps,\u201d he said, noting that the current setup requires a relatively high level of technical sophistication.<\/p>\n<p>AI Models Still \u2018Fight You\u2019 When Asked to Trade<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">He added that another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/money\/best-ai-stock-trading-bots-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">challenge lies with the AI models<\/a> themselves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">\u201cIn many cases, the models themselves aren\u2019t familiar with being used for trading, so sometimes they\u2019ll fight you and they\u2019ll say, \u2018Well, I don\u2019t know, I don\u2019t really want to trade,&#8217;\u201d Tenev said. \u201cYou kind of have to work hard to get it to do what you want it to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">Tenev said Robinhood is working to reduce both forms of friction while expanding Agentic\u2019s capabilities across its broader ecosystem. The company plans to add crypto trading support and continue broadening the AI agent\u2019s toolkit as it pushes deeper into AI-assisted investing.<\/p>\n<p>Robinhood Q2 Earnings<\/p>\n<p class=\"block core-block\">Price Action: Robinhood shares fell 1.01% in after-hours trading after declining 3.15% to close at $89.84 on Wednesday.
