These are the same priorities shaping our investments across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en\/sql-server\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">SQL Server<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/products\/azure-sql\/database\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Azure SQL Database<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/products\/cosmos-db\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Azure Cosmos DB<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/products\/postgresql\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Azure Database for PostgreSQL<\/a>. The PeerSpot recognition reinforces that customers see value not only in the performance of our databases today, but also in how they are helping organizations prepare for the next generation of AI-powered applications.<\/p>\n<p>What customers consistently value <\/p>\n<p>SQL Server: Trusted reliability for mission-critical workloads <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For SQL Server customers, reliability, stability, and long-term data stewardship remain foundational requirements. Organizations continue to rely on SQL Server to support business-critical applications, analytics, and increasingly AI-enabled workflows. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hemanth Reddy Vakiti, a data engineer at Cognizant,\u00a0wrote that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peerspot.com\/products\/sql-server-reviews?review_id=11107492\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cThe backup and recovery allow us to easily access previous 10 to 15 years of data\u201d<\/a>, citing SQL Server\u2019s ability to handle large datasets and support secure role-based access.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another SQL Server reviewer,\u00a0Isseo Martinez\u00a0from\u00a0eGlobal,\u00a0called out availability and stability, saying\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.peerspot.com\/products\/sql-server-reviews?review_id=9505899\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cWe\u00a0never have concerns about the database.\u201d<\/a> For\u00a0many organizations, that confidence is the foundation for business-critical applications and long-term modernization strategies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Azure SQL Database: Simplifying modernization with cloud-scale SQL <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Customers regularly tell us they want the reliability and familiarity of SQL Server with the operational simplicity of a fully managed cloud service. Azure SQL Database helps organizations modernize applications, reduce infrastructure management, and scale with confidence. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fredrick Weinshenk, a cloud engineer at healthcare IT firm Med Tech Solutions, wrote that\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.peerspot.com\/products\/microsoft-azure-sql-database-reviews?review_id=7643726\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cThe ease of deployment and scalability are significant reasons we push our larger clients to Azure,\u201d<\/a> and described the platform as \u201creliable\u201d and \u201csolid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That feedback reflects a recurring need we hear from customers: modernize infrastructure, reduce operational burden, and retain the SQL skills, tools, and application patterns their teams already trust. <\/p>\n<p>Azure Database for PostgreSQL: Open-source flexibility with enterprise reliability <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Customers choose Azure Database for PostgreSQL because it combines the innovation of the PostgreSQL ecosystem with the operational benefits of a managed service. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wesley Haakman, a principal architect at IT service provider Intercept, using the service across hundreds of customer scenarios, shared that \u201c[the]\u202forganization\u2019s database uptime has improved\u201d and highlighted the ease of integration with other Azure services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sathish Palanisamy, data engineer at a large transportation company, said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peerspot.com\/products\/azure-database-for-postgresql-reviews?review_id=10068732\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cWe\u2019ve used Azure Database for PostgreSQL for four years, benefiting from its performance, scalability, ease of integration, and support, especially during migration from Oracle, while also reducing costs and enabling faster, secure, AI-driven innovation in our airline operations.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These reviews highlight the value customers place on flexibility, modernization, and a clear path to AI-powered innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Azure Cosmos DB: Global scale and performance for modern applications <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Customers building modern cloud-native and AI-powered applications consistently point to Azure Cosmos DB\u2019s combination of low latency, elastic scalability, flexible data models, and search performance. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kunal Mukerjee, former vice president of technology strategy at Docusign, said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peerspot.com\/product_reviews\/microsoft-azure-cosmos-db-review-7643748-by-kunal-mukerjee?cop=p9665\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cCosmos DB has improved search result quality, throughput, and query latency. There are trade-offs to finding the sweet spot among all of these.
