We’re really excited because our story and our kind of message for co-pilot has really started to resonate with customers and beyond the seats that have been sold, the things that has us most excited is the stats around usage and engagement. Uh year-over-year, we’ve nearly doubled the number of conversations people are having with co-pilot, and we’re seeing that we’re driving substantial business impact and results for our customers and people keep going back to co-pilot to get their job done. It’s now at the same level of engagement as Outlook and teams, which are staples of the typical office worker, and Copi’s right there next to them. <\/p>\n

So what what are you seeing as far as overall usage? How are how are the customers actually using co-pilot? Is it, you know, I know a lot of uh talk is about making it easier to set up uh spreadsheets. I Excel is is lost on me, uh unfortunately, uh as is PowerPoint, thankfully. Uh but how are they how are they using it? I know that those are ways that a lot of customers may use it, but what’s what’s generally the the idea here behind people using co-pilot? <\/p>\n

The thing that we’re seeing is it’s much like office applications of the past. Like nobody’s job is to build spreadsheets or build presentations. They’re to do policy underwriting or to do a sales pitch or build a marketing plan. And they’re doing the same type of thing with co-pilot. And some of the stories we have out there like Bank of Queensland shrinking things from months to weeks for policy efforts or uh EY shrinking the time it takes to do tax research and policy from things that would take hours or days to minutes. like those are the type of business processes and workflows that have always been done in the Microsoft application ecosystem, now just done more quickly and with better return and better result for our customers inside of co-pilot. <\/p>\n

So, I know part of co-pilot, obviously, there’s, you know, the agentic kind of AI workloads. What are you seeing there? Are are people kind of just saying, hey, co-pilot, do this for me, hit me back when you’re done. What what does that kind of look like? And are you seeing more people kind of lean into the agentic aspect rather than just, you know, kind of a a one hit back and forth, you know, what’s what’s the sales outlook look like? <\/p>\n

Yeah, that’s the big story of 2026. Uh we’re we’ve kind of moved beyond this idea of chat where you send a prompt and you get a response or you ask a question and get an answer. People are using co-pilot to describe entire things like P&L planning or FPNA or or go do sales forecasting and it’s going out and gathering the necessary data from different systems, building a model, writing code even in the in the background without you even having to be aware and helping you go get that job done very quickly and easily. And this idea of delegating tasks to co-pilot is where we’re starting to see so much of the productivity benefit because you maybe spend 30 seconds, 60 seconds setting it up and then it may run for an hour in the background. Uh that’s huge benefit because that may have taken you eight hours to do yourself. So that’s definitely the transition we’ve started to see and we have big announcements over the last few months, things like co-pilot co-work, things like Microsoft Scout and our concept of auto pilots.
