<\/p>\nAWS is bringing Continuum for code vulnerability directly into developer workflows where code is being written: Anthropic Claude Code, AWS Kiro and OpenAI Codex. Here\u2019s what partners should know.<\/p>\n

AWS<\/a> integrating its AI-powered security platform Continuum for code vulnerability into Anthropic Claude Code and OpenAI Codex<\/a> will help solution providers win more AI deals in security-minded enterprises, AWS partners said.<\/p>\n \u201cModel choice was never the hard part for enterprises. Trust in what the model does in production is,\u201d said Val Henderson, CEO of AWS Premier Partner Caylent.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s why we treat governance as something that has to be in the architecture from day one, not a layer you add after go-live, or the project never leaves the pilot stage,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Extending AWS Continuum<\/a> directly into developer workflows where code is being written\u2014like Anthropic Claude<\/a> Code, OpenAI Codex, and AWS Kiro\u2014is what AI users are seeking, partners said.<\/p>\n [Related: OpenAI\u2019s New AWS Director On \u2018Significant\u2019 Codex, ChatGPT And Bedrock Opportunity For Partners<\/a>]<\/p>\n Bizcloud Experts President Sepehr Noorizadeh, who partners with AWS and Anthropic, said developers can now use these integrations to discover vulnerabilities, validate and remediate\u2014all within their existing AWS workflows.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s about how can you give them the enterprise-grade security, governance and measures that your customer knows and is familiar with and provide the right access control to it?\u201d said Noorizadeh.<\/p>\n AWS Continuum for code vulnerabilities discovers vulnerabilities, prioritizes them within the context of a customer\u2019s business, validates them in a sandbox, and provides remediation at speed.<\/p>\n AWS dubs Continuum as an agent-team loop architecture, an orchestration layer that picks a model per task and holds the connections in a client\u2019s account.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a great thing for the customer because they now have more choices on the platform to use and better, faster security,\u201d Noorizadeh said.<\/p>\n How Continuum Works With OpenAI Codex, Kiro and Anthropic Claude Code<\/p>\n Within Claude Code, Codex and Kiro coding environments, on-demand vulnerability scans identify potential issues and sends findings to Continuum.<\/p>\n Continuum prioritizes them within the context of the customer\u2019s AWS environment\u2014including configurations, policies and exposure surfaces\u2014and validates them in a sandbox. It then returns prioritized, contextual intelligence back to the coding assistant, which adjusts its recommendations accordingly, AWS said.<\/p>\n For greenfield code, users can leverage the Continuum plugin within Codex, Claude Code or Kiro to get security-validated suggestions in their development environment.<\/p>\n For existing code, clients can use Continuum for code vulnerabilities from AWS to discover, prioritize, validate and remediate across environments.<\/p>\n AWS Exec Explains Integrating With OpenAI And Anthropic<\/p>\n \u201cWe are working with Anthropic<\/a> and OpenAI to bring Continuum into the developer workflows where code is being written,\u201d said Chet Kapoor, vice president of security, search and observability at AWS, in a blog post.<\/p>\n Kapoor said each new generation of AI models brings new capabilities, and different models excel at different tasks. This can create a challenge for security teams as they have to do more findings, handle more complexity, and determine which model matters most to a client.<\/p>\n \u201cThe next challenge customers face is building the correct harness and orchestration to turn these models into a single interface that goes from detection through remediation,\u201d Kapoor said. \u201cThis is what we set out to do when creating Continuum, which brings together many different models and uses the model that\u2019s most effective for each part of the process.\u201d<\/p>\n AWS Is A Cloud Leader For AI Model Choice<\/p>\n AWS partners<\/a> said AWS is a market leader when it comes to AI model choice on cloud infrastructure<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAWS is saying to customers, \u2018We\u2019re going to give you the infrastructure and the platform to get secure and scale. And we\u2019re going to give you all the access and choice of models you need,\u2019\u201d said Bizcloud Experts\u2019 Noorizadeh.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the market itself has shifted and matured, that\u2019s where you\u2019re seeing the attraction that\u2019s coming with OpenAI and Anthropic now being on the AWS platform,\u201d he said. \u201cA big value prop for AWS is, \u2018We\u2019re going to give our customers choice to build on our platform with what we see as the best AI solution for them.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n AWS\u2019 model openness on its hardware and willingness to form various integrations with companies like Anthropic is a win for partners and customers, Caylent\u2019s Henderson said.<\/p>\n \u201cClaude models on Bedrock run faster because of AWS\u2019 Trainium infrastructure underneath them\u2014same model, meaningfully better performance,\u201d said Henderson. \u201cIt\u2019s an infrastructure advantage and it only shows up when the chip, the platform and the model are engineered to work together.\u201d<\/p>\n AWS\u2019 $169B Run Rate And No. 1 Market-Share Position<\/p>\n AWS generated $42.2 billion in revenue during the second quarter of 2026, representing an increase of 37 percent year over year.<\/p>\n
