Combined, the trio of patents cover the bond between a person and their agent, the reliability of an agent\u2019s conduct, and the sign-off needed for individual actions an agent takes.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Under the mechanics of the newly issued patent, an authorisation checkpoint weighs up a request from an agent by examining its continuing connection to the person it is acting for, the soundness of its execution behaviour, and the circumstances surrounding the requested action.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Once these criteria are met, the system issues what is described as a \u201cdigital permission slip,\u201d a mechanism that sets boundaries on the agent\u2019s activity by specifying an approved action type, a defined scope, and a time restriction. The granted claims extend to brief authorisation windows, restricted delegation tools, caps on rate and transaction volume, binding actions to their execution context, evidence drawn from attestation, and protection against replay within a session.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Daon CEO Tom Grissen said, \u201cAgentic AI is unlikely to safely move from experimentation into high-value production environments on intelligence alone. It requires identity, policy, containment, and evidence at the moment an agent attempts to act.
