It also didn\u2019t state whether more layoffs would happen at other Salesforce locations.<\/p>\n<p>The cull comes as the company promotes <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/31\/business\/silicon-valley-says-trumps-woke-ai-crackdown-cant-be-done-even-as-leading-chatbots-show-lefty-bias\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">artificial intelligence<\/a> as its main strategy for growth, while reporting impressive financial results.<\/p>\n<p>For the quarter ending in April 30, the tech company reported <a href=\"https:\/\/investor.salesforce.com\/overview\/default.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$11.1 billion in revenue<\/a>, according to its first-quarter fiscal 2027 results.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Salesforce\u2019s Q1 financial statements included $80 million in restructuring expenses.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>An aerial view shows Salesforce Tower on San Francisco. Gado via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The latest cuts arrive after three earlier rounds of layoffs at the company\u2019s San Francisco headquarters.
