NextSlide joins ChatGPT<\/p>\n

NextSlide founder Ahmed Beshry said the startup\u2019s product was built \u201cthat could turn prompts, notes, documents, or research into a polished, editable presentation.\u201d<\/p>\n

TechCrunch reported that NextSlide\u2019s website displayed Beshry\u2019s note announcing the move, and that the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Timing and founder remarks<\/p>\n

Beshry told audiences that the acquisition announcement was delayed, writing that it was coming \u201ca few months late,\u201d because the acquisition took place \u201cearlier this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same TechCrunch account, Beshry said the team would \u201ccontinue pursuing that same mission: building AI products that help people create, communicate, and turn their ideas into meaningful work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Storyboard18 also reported that Beshry said the deal was completed earlier this year but that the announcement was made only recently, and that the NextSlide website now carries a message from him about the team\u2019s move to OpenAI.<\/p>\n

BigGo Finance similarly said the deal was completed earlier this year but publicly confirmed on August 8, 2026, and noted that financial terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Broader AI workspace bet<\/p>\n

It also pointed to OpenAI\u2019s ChatGPT Health rollout, saying OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Health in January 2026 and said in July 2026 that Health was rolling out to U.S. users 18 and older on web and iOS.<\/p>\n

The same article said OpenAI\u2019s Copilot advantage in PowerPoint is that \u201cCopilot in PowerPoint can create a presentation from a prompt or from a Word document for eligible Microsoft 365 users.\u201d<\/p>\n
