As with every annual release,\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0made significant updates this year, including two new certification tracks, a refreshed naming approach, and an expanded set of free certifications.\u00a0I\u2019ll\u00a0walk through all of it below.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Agentic AI +\u00a0Cloud + Data\u00a0<\/p>\n
OCI offers\u00a0role-based training and certifications across\u00a0AI,\u00a0Cloud, Data, and\u00a0now Agentic AI\u00a0(more on Agentic AI below). Whether\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0an\u00a0AI engineer,\u00a0cloud architect,\u00a0multicloud\u00a0architect, data scientist, security engineer, cloud developer, DevOps engineer, cloud operator, data engineer, or database administrator, we have tailored courseware for you.\u00a0<\/p>\n
For beginners and business\u00a0professionals, we\u00a0provide entry-level certifications that require no prior technical background. And this year,\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0gone further: in addition to our free Foundations certifications, the\u00a0OCI Architect Associate course and certification are now\u00a0completely\u00a0free\u00a0as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Agentic AI for Oracle AI Database\u00a0Professional:\u00a0agentic\u00a0workflows built on the Oracle AI Database.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Agentic AI for Oracle Data Platform\u00a0Professional:\u00a0agentic\u00a0solutions across the Oracle AI Data Platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This gives learners a clear path from first principles all the way to professional-level\u00a0agentic AI skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Certifications no longer carry the calendar year\u00a0<\/p>\n
Starting with this release,\u00a0certification titles and logos no longer include the calendar year.\u00a0You\u2019ll\u00a0now earn the\u00a0OCI Architect Associate\u00a0certification,\u00a0not the \u201cOCI 2026 Architect Associate.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
This is a change many of you have asked for. It keeps your credential current and clean on your r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and LinkedIn\u00a0profile.\u00a0OCI\u00a0certifications are valid for a period of\u00a024 months\u00a0from\u00a0the date the credential is earned.\u00a0We\u2019ll\u00a0continue to refresh course content and exam\u00a0objectives\u00a0regularly; the credential name simply stays evergreen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

An updated approach to course access\u00a0<\/p>\n
As our curriculum has grown deeper and more hands-on\u00a0with live OCI lab environments, Hands-on Performance Exams (HPE), and continuously updated content\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0introducing\u00a0a new approach\u00a0to course access designed to keep that quality high while keeping the on-ramp wide open:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Foundations\u00a0courses\u00a0remain\u00a0available at no cost.\u00a0Every Foundations-level course and certification stays free, just as before.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The OCI Architect Associate course and certification are now free, too.\u00a0This is new. You can now go beyond the basics and become a\u00a0certified cloud architect at no cost\u00a0learning core OCI primitives like Identity, Networking, Compute, and Storage, and earning\u00a0an\u00a0Associate-level credential.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Professional-level courses move to paid access.\u00a0Our\u00a0Professional courses\u00a0covering advanced, specialized, and role-deep content\u00a0will now require paid access. This lets us keep investing in the hands-on labs, real-world HPE scenarios, and frequent content refreshes that make these courses valuable.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In short: you can learn the fundamentals and earn a full cloud architect certification\u00a0at no cost\u00a0and step up to paid Professional courses when\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0ready to specialize.\u00a0<\/p>\n
