{"id":137737,"date":"2026-08-12T19:33:29","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T19:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/137737\/"},"modified":"2026-08-12T19:33:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T19:33:29","slug":"ai-safety-expert-warns-rapidly-advancing-tech-could-outpace-safeguards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/137737\/","title":{"rendered":"AI safety expert warns rapidly advancing tech could outpace safeguards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">NewsNation<\/a>) \u2014 As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/business\/tech\/ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">artificial intelligence<\/a> continues to advance at a rapid pace, one AI safety expert is warning the technology could become increasingly difficult to control without stronger safeguards.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brendansteinhauser.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Brendan Steinhauser<\/a>, CEO of the Alliance for Secure AI, told \u201cMorning in America\u201d while he is excited about AI\u2019s potential to benefit humanity, he is concerned the technology is advancing faster than researchers can solve critical safety and control issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very excited about the technology and what it can do for humanity,\u201d Steinhauser said. \u201cI think we\u2019re currently not on the right path.
