On Tuesday, Aravind&#8217;s mother, 45-year-old Sudha Venkatesan, and brother, 14-year-old Siddharth Aravind, were found dead in their Acton home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">After discovering the bodies, police announced that Arjun Aravind was unaccounted for and believed to be driving his mother&#8217;s car. On Wednesday morning, Ryan said police officers in Wayland recognized the car while responding to an unrelated call.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Arjun Aravind was taken into custody without incident, Ryan said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to Ryan, Aravind&#8217;s father left the house for work around 7 a.m. Tuesday. When a tutor had trouble accessing the house later that morning, the father tried to call the house but did not get a response. He then contacted police and asked them to conduct a well-being check.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">When police arrived at the house, they found Siddharth Aravind dead on the first floor, and Sudha Venkatesan dead in the finished basement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">While both victims had suffered trauma, Ryan said the cause of death was not yet known.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Arjun Aravind had used AI programs to research the killings, Ryan said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;The investigation has so far shown that Arjun had recently been demonstrating some concerning behavior, including using the internet and ChatGPT to make searches for theoretical ideas or fantasy stories regarding the killing of his family,&#8221; Ryan said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Aravind is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Concord District Court.
