{"id":138863,"date":"2026-08-13T15:31:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T15:31:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/138863\/"},"modified":"2026-08-13T15:31:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T15:31:08","slug":"new-york-tech-office-signs-agreement-with-ibm-for-ai-cloud-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/138863\/","title":{"rendered":"New York tech office signs agreement with IBM for AI, cloud services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New York State Office of Information Technology Services on Thursday announced it\u2019s signed an an enterprise agreement with IBM for new artificial intelligence and hybrid cloud\u00a0tools to several of the state\u2019s agencies.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement, which state officials said was signed in this year\u2019s second quarter, is expected to deliver $6 million in taxpayer savings over the next three years. It will provide to\u00a0some\u00a0New York state agencies access to IBM\u2019s hybrid cloud and AI software portfolio, equipping\u00a0the state government\u2019s workforce\u00a0with tools that can automate business processes, modernize applications and strengthen cybersecurity.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said in a press release that the agreement with IBM, which is headquartered in New York, was designed to help state agencies advance AI-powered productivity and \u201cintelligent workflows,\u201d application development, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud management, cybersecurity and data protection, data management and other business functions.<\/p>\n<p>According to the state\u2019s announcement, the technology agency has negotiated 14 enterprise-level agreements that have resulted in $58 million in annual savings for taxpayers.
