Yeah, they’re going uh based on the the company’s revenue growth. And so right now, what they they say uh to according to the FT is that the run rate uh for revenue is 100 to 120 billion dollars. And so, you know, revenue run rate is obviously a measure uh of how that uh an amount of revenue in a specific time would look spread out throughout a year. <\/p>\n

It doesn’t necessarily mean that that is what would come in in a full year and there are obviously fluctuations when it comes to different quarters and seasonality and things along those lines. Uh but that they kind of point to as the justification uh these investors for that potential $2 trillion dollar valuation. and you know, that would blow away SpaceX which came in at 1.77 trillion. Um, it would put it, you know, up there with the likes of the major players in in big tech. <\/p>\n

I think the the the other thing to think about is what does that mean then for OpenAI? Uh there’s, you know, two kind of schools of thought is, okay, well we have SpaceX people dove into, we have uh uh obviously Anthropic that they’ll they’ll want to dive into. Will they then also want to dive into Open AI or does that mean that there’ll not be enough money on the table for OpenAI to get a massive trill uh multi trillion trillion or multi-trillion dollar valuation? <\/p>\n

I think that’s something that that investors are going to be looking at. Uh either that or the kind of uh huge sense of of euphoria around these kind of IPOs has people spread out across uh all three.
