This marks Cyera\u2019s fourth acquisition in five years, following others such as <a href=\"https:\/\/techfundingnews.com\/cyber-unicorn-cyera-acquires-trial-security-for-162m-to-redefine-ai-powered-data-security\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"38904\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Trail<\/a>, which focused on data activity monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>Since its founding in 2024 by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/yossi-reitblat\/?lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_feed%3B6tRxnjOFTRGENtGBy9PuUw%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Yossi Reitblat<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/yuvalyogev\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Yuval Yogev<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/guygadon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Guy Gadon<\/a>, Ryft received $8 million in seed funding from <a href=\"https:\/\/techfundingnews.com\/paris-based-parallel-raises-20m-from-index-ventures-to-cut-hospital-admin-by-30-with-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Index Ventures<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/techfundingnews.com\/axiamatic-54m-greylock-bessemer-ai-transformation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Bessemer Venture Partners<\/a>, with support from members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/techfundingnews.com\/alphabet-eyes-massive-23b-acquisition-of-cybersecurity-startup-wiz\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"34000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Wiz<\/a> founding team and executives from Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Confluent, and Cisco.<\/p>\n<p>Ryft\u2019s platform uses an open-source standard for modern data lakes, allowing companies to retain full control of their data without being tied to a single vendor. Ryft\u2019s managed layer automatically handles optimisation, compliance, disaster recovery, and governance. The founders say it is an AI-ready data lake that supports agent workloads needing clean, well-managed, and traceable data access at scale.<\/p>\n<p>This deal helps Cyera build a unified platform for managing data and AI, giving companies a clear view of how AI agents access data, including the methods and permissions involved.
