Brin has spent recent months pressing key AI staff to go all in on the company’s Gemini model as Alphabet races to close the gap with rivals, two people familiar with his remarks told Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n That pressure campaign helps explain the most dramatic reshuffling in Google DeepMind’s history, announced just one week before the report landed.
