You need continuous investigation in order to understand if something deviates and becomes a risk,” Boldo said.

That continuous approach also changes the analyst’s role. AI can correlate activity across weeks or months and assemble timelines, context and intent, helping security teams focus on judgment and response instead of sifting through logs.

In this video interview with ISMG at Black Hat USA 2026, Boldo also discussed:

What Above Security plans to prioritize next as it researches AI agent risk;
Why deploying human analysts to monitor every AI agent in real time isn’t feasible;
How Above Security’s partnership with CrowdStrike supports its insider risk strategy.

Boldo leads product strategy and engineering for Above Security’s AI-native insider risk platform. Before co-founding Above Security, he co-founded AI-powered accounting platform Trullion, was senior vice president of R&D at identity security company Silverfort, and was vice president of innovation at DriveNets.

Above Security Co-Founder Amir Boldo on Synthetic Insiders and AI Investigation Michael Novinson (MichaelNovinson) • August 14, 2026…

[6
69171,179,7493,405,1710,69170,69174,69173,330,18084,30541,26693,69172,291
post-140480","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-agentic-ai","tag-above-security","tag-agentic-ai","tag-agentic-artificial-intelligence","tag-ai-agents","tag-ai-security","tag-amir-boldo","tag-automation-security","tag-continuous-investigation","tag-crowdstrike","tag-identity-risk","tag-insider-risk","tag-insider-threat","tag-synthetic-insiders","tag-threat-detection
["GET
