Now, these are all numbers from, you know, investors that are reporting, you know, internal numbers, so we don’t have everything exactly. and Anthropic is based on revenue run rate, not, you know, a full year. Uh, but that’s I think a a troubling sign just in that again, Open AI was the the leader.

   00:26 Speaker A

This by no means means that Open AI is done. Obviously, their, you know, valuation is nearly a trillion dollars.

   00:33 Speaker A

18 months from now, we could be talking about another switch.

   00:35 Speaker A

Exactly, yes. And you know, I I mean next week we could be talking about another switch. Uh Anthropic though, it seems as though they you know, by going and give for the enterprise at first, they managed to get a niche, you know, and and build from there. And that was with code. And so, you know, they’ve since gone and expanded past that with, you know, Claude co-work and things along those lines. Uh and so they’re primarily the enterprise market.

   00:54 Speaker A

Now, Open AI did uh consumer side first. They’ve since switched over to enterprise or not, you know, they they’ve put more focus on on the enterprise and now enterprise revenue out paces consumer revenue, which I think investors would be happy to hear. But it’s just the the fact that they sunk deeper into the red in this quarter or this past quarter, according to this report. Uh they’re huge commitments that they’ve already set up. Don’t, you know, that doesn’t mean that Anthropic doesn’t have huge commitments as well.

   01:17 Speaker A

But, you know, I think the the uh taste of of Sam Altman saying they’re going to spend more than a trillion dollars and then having to back up from that and say, well, maybe, you know, 600 billion or something along those lines. Um, I think that still has people a little concerned. So, you know, again, it’s by no means saying that uh Open AI is caput, right? uh or that Anthropic is going to run away with this from now on.

   01:37 Speaker A

It’s, you know, just as you said, 18 months we could be talking about some other company entirely. So, I I and I do think, you know, as all this is happening,

   01:44 Speaker A

the the conversation about open models plays into it a lot as well. And so, you know, these are two companies that are primarily based on proprietary models. Uh that’s how they they make their money selling their access to their APIs. Um, we we we’ll have to see what happens then uh with this kind of multi-model world that we’re we’re now moving into with, you know, model routers and things along those lines. So I’ll just have to see what happens.

00:00 Speaker A they appear to be uh advancing as far as revenue growth goes far faster than…

[8
53,2209,3303,71506
post-145412","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-anthropic","tag-anthropic","tag-dan-howley","tag-revenue-growth","tag-traditional-metrics
["GET
