According to a Thursday post from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7495960472341409792\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">chief product officer Hari Srinivasan<\/a>, \u201cover a million people\u201d have clicked on the button, which is accessible from the three dots menu on a post.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">LinkedIn announced the button a few weeks after AI detector Pangram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pangram.com\/blog\/ai-in-your-feed?ref=404media.co\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">determined that<\/a> 41 percent of LinkedIn\u2019s longform posts were flagged as fully AI generated, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.404media.co\/linkedin-and-x-are-flooded-with-ai-spam-browsing-data-suggests\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">which 404 Media reported on<\/a>. Alongside the AI slop button, LinkedIn introduced \u201cnew and improved\u201d classifiers to identify posts as AI and removed a feature that would \u201cenhance your post\u201d with AI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">\u201cAI slop is a top priority for all of us,\u201d Srinivasan said at the time, and it sounds as if the platform\u2019s changes may be making a difference.
