{"id":150005,"date":"2026-08-24T23:52:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T23:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/150005\/"},"modified":"2026-08-24T23:52:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T23:52:08","slug":"elastic-closes-deductive-ai-deal-to-deliver-incident-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/150005\/","title":{"rendered":"Elastic Closes Deductive AI Deal to Deliver Incident Investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elastic.co\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elastic<\/a> completed its acquisition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deductive.ai\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Deductive AI<\/a>, saying in a Monday (Aug. 24) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20260824863894\/en\/Elastic-Completes-Acquisition-of-Deductive-AI\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">press release<\/a> that the move will help Elastic set the standard for production incident investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Elastic announced in a July 22 blog post that it agreed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elastic.co\/blog\/elastic-deductive-ai\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">acquire<\/a> Deductive AI.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition will add Deductive AI\u2019s artificial intelligence-powered investigation platform, which helps engineering teams identify and resolve production issues, to Elastic\u2019s agentic observability solution, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elastic.co\/observability\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elastic Observability<\/a>, according to the Monday press release.<\/p>\n<p>This combination will bring more AI-powered investigation and automation to Elastic Observability, the release said. Thanks!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEngineering teams today are drowning in telemetry but starved for answers,\u201d Elastic CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kulkarniashutosh\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ash Kulkarni<\/a> said in the release. \u201cWe have been building AI into Elastic Observability to move teams from detection to resolution faster.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Deductive AI customers will continue to receive support while Elastic develops integration plans and shares additional product roadmap details over the coming months, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve always believed that engineering teams deserve better than hours spent manually tracing the root cause of every incident,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/rkots\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rakesh Kothari<\/a>, former CEO and co-founder of Deductive AI, said in the release. \u201cJoining Elastic lets us bring that conviction to a much larger audience and dramatically accelerate the development of AI-powered investigation capabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was reported in July that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Apple<\/a> acquired certain assets of SigScalr, developer of a data log management and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/apple\/2026\/apple-acquires-open-source-observability-platform-developer-sigscalr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">observability<\/a> tool, and hired certain SigScalr employees. SigScalr offers the open-source observability platform SigLens, which helps developers collect, search and analyze logs, metrics and traces generated by apps and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>In January, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snowflake.com\/en\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Snowflake<\/a> said it was acquiring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.observeinc.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Observe<\/a> and would integrate the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/partnerships\/2026\/snowflake-to-acquire-observe-to-enable-faster-troubleshooting-of-ai-agents\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">observability platform<\/a> with Snowflake\u2019s AI Data Cloud.
