The world\u2019s hottest hyperscalers<\/a> have deepened their relationship with Google Cloud and Oracle each giving the other more of the best it has to offer and thereby creating enormous new business value and potential for mutual customers.<\/p>\n As I\u2019ve noted before, a major consequence of the breakneck pace of change here in the AI Revolution is that even the biggest and best Cloud Wars Top 10<\/a> vendors have realized that strategic partnerships are the only way to meet the rapidly evolving and escalating needs of customers.<\/p>\n So, while Google Cloud and Oracle will no doubt continue to compete savagely in multiple areas \u2014particularly cloud and AI infrastructure \u2014 their shared decision to join forces in helping customers drive successful AI transformations is creating huge opportunities for both hypergrowth players.<\/p>\n Now, as I brush aside the cobwebs of time and try to remember the final couple of lines from the grade-school jingle referenced in the headline above, I seem to recall something about \u201cmarriage\u201d and \u201cbaby carriage.\u201d I\u2019m surely not implying that things will ever go that far \u2014 ergo my decision to cut things off at the kissing stage \u2014 but I believe strongly that as customers confront new and unprecedented competitive pressures, advanced-technology requirements, and drastically foreshortened timetables, we will see more and more precisely orchestrated intimacy between vendors that in other sectors will continue to battle intensely against one another.<\/p>\n \n What makes the Google Cloud\/Oracle pairing so intriguing is that they\u2019re ranked #1 and #2 on the Cloud Wars Top 10 by virtue of their blistering growth rates, which directly reflects surging customer demand for what each is offering and how each is offering it. A quick recap of that demand:\n<\/p>\n So, how are these cloud and AI powerhouses collaborating to boost their chances of matching or even exceeding those gaudy results?
