OpenAI executives and major outlets are also tying the rise of autonomous agents to cyber risk, with PYMNTS reporting that Chris Lehane told The Guardian that people should prepare for routine AI-driven cyberattacks.<\/p>\n

PYMNTS quotes Lehane saying, “People are going to be able to access these open-source models and be able to have ongoing, persistent attacks on you,” and describes the threat as coming from open-source models only a few months behind frontier closed models.<\/p>\n

Android Authority similarly reports that the five-hour limits are “currently not applicable to ChatGPT Pro users,” while weekly limits remain for Pro plans.<\/p>\n

TechCrunch frames the adoption challenge as a gap between internal and external use, citing an OpenAI-backed study that found “98% of OpenAI employees were using Codex” while “just 17% of organizational subscribers” and “less than 1% of individual subscribers” used the agentic coding tool.<\/p>\n
