Microsoft has announced a new multi-year partnership with Major League Baseball\u2019s Toronto Blue Jays.<\/p>\n
Microsoft and the Blue Jays will use the partnership<\/a> to \u201cexplore new ways to create engaging, connected experiences for fans across Canada using cloud and AI technologies to bring everyone closer to the game.\u201d<\/p>\n Microsoft says its services will be integrated into select Toronto Blue Jays fan experiences, with Microsoft Copilot branding appearing throughout Rogers Centre and on select Toronto Blue Jays platforms. This includes serving as the presenting partner for the \u201cMicrosoft Copilot Performer of the Game\u201d on social media, which will showcase stats from a key player from that day\u2019s game.<\/p>\n Interestingly, Microsoft says that the partnership will also be utilized in marketing campaigns, exclusive content series, and B2B experiences throughout the season.<\/p>\n Now, Microsoft did note that the Blue Jays\u2019 data ecosystem currently runs on Microsoft Azure, and that this partnership will further expand the foundation of its ecosystem across both the business and baseball operations.<\/p>\n Microsoft will also collaborate with the Jays Care Foundation in order to create opportunities for kids across Canada to grow through baseball.<\/p>\n This comes a month after Microsoft cut 1,600 jobs in a mass layoff that prompted CWA Canada to consider legal action<\/a>, and after the company\u2019s Xbox division shifted away from Copilot back in May.<\/a><\/p>\n On the field, it has been a rollercoaster of a season for the Blue Jays.
