SS&C Technologies has automated 3,400 internal processes, deployed approximately 3,600 digital workers, and has more than 50 AI agents running in its business \u2013 a 29,000-plus employee organisation with regulatory obligations in financial services and fund administration.<\/p>\n
On the Q1 2026 earnings call, SS&C\u2019s chairman and CEO Bill Stone said the company has \u201cmaybe saved us US$200 million a year.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Natalie Keightley, VP of Portfolio Marketing at SS&C Blue Prism, WorkHQ \u201cmeets organisations wherever they are on their automation journeys\u201d and extends companies\u2019 current automation foundation with agentic abilities.<\/p>\n
Governance at scale<\/p>\n
The regulated industries SS&C serves \u2013 financial services, insurance, fund administration \u2013 don\u2019t have the luxury of treating governance lightly. WorkHQ includes guardrails, hallucination detection, and controlled input\/output handling as components of its core architecture.<\/p>\n
Agents capable of independent reasoning, operating in defined boundaries is the engineering challenge agentic workflow orchestration is meant to address. An agent can be given a goal, but operators need the system around it to know when to escalate, when to pause, and when to involve a human.<\/p>\n
