As agentic deployments demand platforms that are both capable and safe to build on, the Google-Anthropic partnership is fast becoming the model others are measured against.<\/p>\n<p>Google and Anthropic have spent three years building one of the most <a href=\"https:\/\/siliconangle.com\/2026\/04\/06\/anthropic-taps-google-broadcom-yet-ai-chips-revenue-run-rate-tops-30b\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">consequential partnerships in enterprise AI<\/a>, with Anthropic\u2019s annual revenue run rate surging from $9 billion at the end of 2025 to more than $30 billion in early 2026. The underlying ambition is to give enterprises a single, trusted platform for building AI for the long term, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jimmya\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jim Anderson<\/a>\u00a0(pictured, left), vice president of the North America partner ecosystem and channels at Google Cloud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur strategy is to provide a full AI financial stack and really to try to de-risk a customer\u2019s journey for AI,\u201d Anderson said. \u201cWe do that by working with partners \u2014 third-party partners and first-party partners \u2014 to give customers the agility to make sure they can pick the right technology for the right time and the right environment that they\u2019re working with. That\u2019s really what it\u2019s about right now \u2014 getting that time to value, de-risking the journey and working closely with partners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anderson and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/daniel-arthur-rosenthal\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dan Rosenthal<\/a>\u00a0(right), head of cloud partnerships at Anthropic, spoke with theCUBE\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/furrier\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">John Furrier<\/a>\u00a0at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecube.net\/events\/google\/google-cloud-next-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Google Cloud Next<\/a>, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media\u2019s livestreaming studio. They discussed how the Google-Anthropic partnership is scaling enterprise AI adoption through trust. (* Disclosure below.)<\/p>\n<p>Google-Anthropic partnership drives enterprise AI adoption at scale<\/p>\n<p>The enterprise adoption story has accelerated across three dimensions simultaneously: employee productivity, internal process reinvention and externally-facing product transformation. Customers are no longer sequencing those investments \u2014 they are pursuing all three at once, and coding has emerged as the fastest-moving entry point, Rosenthal noted.\u00a0Google Cloud\u2019s developer tools and global reach have made it a natural accelerator for that coding transformation, turning what might have been gradual adoption into a sprint.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLiterally every enterprise in the world is using this technology and wants to go deeper in it,\u201d Rosenthal said. \u201cEvery company in the world is thinking, \u2018How do I adopt this? How do I write software more quickly, more efficiently [and with] better quality?\u2019 We\u2019ve gone from a nine billion run rate to north of 30 billion here in three months since the start of the year. We can\u2019t do that without a partner like Google.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To help partners and customers accelerate that journey, Google Cloud <a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/blog\/topics\/partners\/how-google-cloud-partner-ecosystem-is-building-the-agentic-enterprise\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">committed $750 million<\/a>\u00a0at Google Cloud Next 2026 to arm its 120,000-member ecosystem with skills, tooling and forward-deployed engineering capacity. Mutual customers like Shopify Inc., which built its AI-powered Sidekick agent on Google Cloud and Claude, and Palo Alto Networks Inc., which has seen a 20% to 30% increase in engineering velocity using Gemini Enterprise, illustrate where ROI is becoming tangible, Anderson explained.\u00a0Beneath those results lies something harder to manufacture than capability: trust, Rosenthal added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are a partnership you can trust and we do that by leading with choice,\u201d Rosenthal said. \u201cThere are going to be some use cases that it\u2019s better with Gemini, others better with Claude.
