Speaking during the company\u2019s quarterly earnings call, Nadella said that Microsoft 365 Copilot now has 20 million paid enterprise seats. Nadella said the company has seen a rise in large-scale deployments. The number of companies using more than 50,000 Copilot seats has quadrupled. He further revealed that firms such as Bayer, Johnson &amp; Johnson, Mercedes-Benz and Roche each have more than 90,000 seats. Nadella also highlighted a recent deal with Accenture for over 740,000 seats, calling it \u201cour largest Copilot win to date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Copilot usage and engagement rise: Satya Nadella<\/p>\n<p>Addressing concerns around actual usage, Nadella said engagement levels are increasing.\u201cCopilot queries per user were up nearly 20% quarter over quarter. To put this momentum in perspective, weekly engagement is now at the same level as Outlook,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is like a daily habit of intense usage.\u201dThe company said this indicates users are interacting with Copilot as frequently as they use email.Nadella also said Copilot is not tied to a single AI model. \u201cYou now have access in chat to multiple models by default, with intelligent auto routing in agents with critique and counsel, you can use multiple models together to generate optimal responses,\u201d he said.Microsoft 365 Copilot supports models such as Anthropic\u2019s Claude alongside other systems.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella: Agent mode drives Copilot adoption<\/p>\n<p>The company said its \u201cagent mode\u201d is helping increase usage.
