7AI is aiming to build on the massive momentum with partners and customers for its AI-powered security investigations to offer a complete agentic AI platform for the Security Operations Center (SOC), according to 7AI co-founder and CEO Lior Div.<\/p>\n
In an interview with CRN, Div said that the two-year-old startup is rapidly expanding its agentic product offerings into a platform providing a \u201cfull operating system\u201d for the modern SOC.<\/p>\n
[Related: 10 Cool Agentic Security Startups In 2026<\/a>]<\/p>\n The ultimate goal is to reimagine the way that SOC teams work to take full advantage of agentic capabilities and move faster, he said\u2014at a time when this is increasingly necessary as AI also accelerates the speed and scale of cyberattacks.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re transforming from an investigation-only company to a full operating system for the modern SOC that goes all the way from detection to response\u2014detect, investigate, respond and hunt,\u201d Div said.<\/p>\n That will include SIEM (security information and event management), SOAR (security orchestration automation and response), autonomous threat hunting and other key capabilities, he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re taking all of those things and putting them together on one agentic platform, [where] every piece speaks with every other piece,\u201d Div said. \u201cWhat we\u2019re building right now is the end-to-end security operating system.\u201d<\/p>\n And it shouldn\u2019t be long before that full set of tools is available, he said, as the startup is \u201crunning fast\u201d in its development cycles. The company is targeting early June for the launch of the additional capabilities, according to Div.<\/p>\n The platform expansion follows the $130 million<\/a> Series A funding round raised by the company in December. Led by Index Ventures, the round is the largest Series A in cybersecurity industry history, according to 7AI.<\/p>\n The startup was launched in 2024 by Div, a repeat entrepreneur in security who was formerly CEO and co-founder of Cybereason, and CTO Yonatan Striem-Amit, also formerly a Cybereason co-founder.<\/p>\n The initial focus at 7AI has been on providing autonomous agents to handle critical security operations tasks such as alert triage and investigations. The AI agents leverage dynamic reasoning capabilities in order to adapt to various scenarios and eliminate false positives\u2014ultimately enabling faster responses within security operations.<\/p>\n In August 2025, the startup unveiled<\/a> a partnership with technology services provider giant DXC Technology that combines DXC\u2019s security operations capabilities with autonomous AI agents from 7AI.<\/p>\n
