Citi said the agents are intended to enhance\u2014not replace\u2014human judgment, while improving day-to-day efficiency across business lines, PYMNTS said.<\/p>\n<p>In one example cited by the bank, wealth management teams that might typically spend hours preparing for client meetings can instead rely on AI agents to proactively compile and deliver relevant insights. That shift, Citi said, allows bankers to spend more time on client relationships and advisory work, evolving their role from coordination to strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Citi added that more than 80% of its workforce with access to internal AI tools is already using them regularly, providing a foundation for the Arc rollout. The bank emphasized the system will include governance and audit controls, with initial use focused on targeted applications before broader deployment.
