Uh he was having a conversation uh with Andrew Ross Sorkin and uh Jamie Dimon. And basically the conversation came down to what does this mean for the the SaaS-ocalypse, right? The software as a service apocalypse. and how we’ve seen those kind of stocks melt down the CRMs, the NOWs, the the Snowflakes. Uh and basically he said, you know, there there will be some that manage to evolve with uh the AI, you know, build out and there will be others that won’t and they’ll just kind of go the way of the dinosaur. <\/p>\n

And is is he say and is he saying the moat there is, well, if if it if it’s just that your software is complex and tough to write, you’ve got problems. <\/p>\n

That’s it exactly. And it’s you know, it’s going to be more of uh what what what does that mean for what do you mean for customers? What do you have to offer? What’s what’s your key differentiator beyond just the software? <\/p>\n

Yeah. And and, you know, this has been the the kind of ongoing question, what does this mean for software stocks? And you know, a bunch of people that I’ve spoken to have said, it doesn’t mean that the bulk of them will just go poof, right? You’re not going to wake up one morning and they’re gone. A lot of them are already integrating AI. <\/p>\n

I mean, look at Service now. They already work with Nvidia, they’re integrating AI uh into their their own services. And so that’s something that I think we’ll see a lot more companies do. Microsoft, by the way, does that with Copilot, whether or not that’s, you know, super successful. I mean, we saw them report uh great growth as far as Copilot seats go when it comes to their enterprise or Microsoft 365. But you know, other companies are are are going to have to get on board as well. <\/p>\n

Obviously Salesforce has its own uh AI capabilities, but I I think that the fear is, you know, we just saw Anthropic talk about further uh pushing further into the uh financial services industry. So I think there’s there’s going to be this continued friction between, you know, the the companies, the established companies bringing in these AI companies like Anthropic, like Open AI, and then those very same companies offering their own similar product. And so it’s going to be interesting to see how this shakes out. <\/p>\n

But the ones I think, you know, Dario Amodei is right that it’ll be that the the differentiator will be the customer service, the support, not necessarily just the software. <\/p>\n
