{"id":35041,"date":"2026-05-11T19:49:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T19:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/35041\/"},"modified":"2026-05-11T19:49:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T19:49:16","slug":"openais-dresser-says-enterprise-ai-adoption-is-at-a-tipping-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/35041\/","title":{"rendered":"OpenAI&#8217;s Dresser says enterprise AI adoption is &#8216;at a tipping point&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"InlineVideo-videoThumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/108305088-17785149271778514923-45865192135-1080pnbcnews.jpg\" alt=\"OpenAI's Denise Dresser discusses launch of new deployment company\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/04\/27\/openai-microsoft-partnership-revenue-cap.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OpenAI<\/a> Chief Revenue Officer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/04\/13\/openai-touts-amazon-alliance-in-memo-microsoft-limited-our-ability.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Denise Dresser<\/a> said Monday that we&#8217;re at a &#8220;tipping point&#8221; in enterprise <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/ai-artificial-intelligence\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">artificial intelligence<\/a> adoption, and the startup&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/index\/openai-launches-the-deployment-company\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Deployment Company<\/a> will help with the push to get more companies on board.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Think about the complex workflows, about how you actually build a product service, a product market, a product, and this structure of this company is going to allow us to do that at speed and scale,&#8221; Dresser told CNBC&#8217;s &#8220;Squawk on the Street.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>OpenAI announced the new business unit on Monday, which included the acquisition of applied AI consulting firm Tomoro. The OpenAI Development Company is a partnership with 19 investment and consultancy firms, including Bain, Goldman Sachs and SoftBank, and is majority-owned and controlled by OpenAI. <\/p>\n<p>The Tomoro acquisition will bring about 150 engineers specializing in deploying frontier AI models into OpenAI&#8217;s umbrella to work with clients.
