Seth Rogen pulled exactly zero punches when asked about the supposed threat of AI in Hollywood.<\/p>\n
The 2x Golden Globe winner called AI-generated content \u201cstupid dog shit\u201d and went as far as to say that people who use AI in their writing \u201cshouldn\u2019t be a writer,\u201d while discussing his and wife Lauren Miller Rogen\u2019s new animated film Tangles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t understand what it\u2019s supposed to do,\u201d he told Brut<\/a>. \u201cEvery time I see a video on Instagram that\u2019s like, \u2018Hollywood is cooked,\u2019 what follows is the most stupid dog shit I\u2019ve ever seen in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Rogen continued, \u201cAnd if your instinct is to use AI and not go through that process, you shouldn\u2019t be a writer. Because you\u2019re not writing. Go do something else. And if you don\u2019t want to go through the process, you shouldn\u2019t be a writer. The idea of a tool that makes me write less is not appealing to me, because I like writing.\u201d<\/p>\n The Tangles producer\/star took pride in the fact that no AI was used in the making of the Leah Nelson-helmed animated film about a young woman dealing with her mother\u2019s Alzheimer diagnosis and its impact on her family.<\/p>\n \u201cNot at all,\u201d said Rogen, who co-founded the Alzheimer\u2019s nonprofit Hilarity for Charity with wife Miller Rogen. \u201cIt\u2019s hand-drawn animation.
