The deal was reported by Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>Under the program, which is set to begin in May, Maltese residents will first complete a free course on using AI before gaining access to the premium service. The initiative is expected to expand as more people finish the training.<\/p>\n<p>The offer also extends to Maltese citizens who live outside the country. A statement from OpenAI quoted Maltese Economy Minister Silvio Schembri as describing the effort as turning an unfamiliar concept into practical help for families, students, and workers.<\/p>\n<p>Malta is the first nation to launch such a program with OpenAI.
