\u2022 I am ticked at AI now being used at fast-food drive-thrus. At first, I was impressed. Then I realized it was charging me for substitution that used to be free. Now when I ask for an employee to take the order, they are lost. I do not know about other people, but when I do not get the service I expect for the ever-increasing prices, I just stop going to that freckle-faced girl with the red hair hamburger place. Just seems like AI is making humans mediocre at best. I do wonder what happens to businesses that embrace AI when they have no consumer base after laying off 40% of their staff?\u00a0 What happens to the government when it loses 40% of its tax base?<\/p>\n
\u2022 The most recent Publix ad with the dogs is the most senseless ad ever. The first time we saw it, we could not figure out what the message was and could not believe it belonged to Publix. We miss the old beautiful, seasonal Publix ads.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Thank you to my husband, Dan, who cut back many of our plants a few weeks ago after the freeze. We have 30 peace lily blooms and our lion\u2019s ear plant, which has beautiful, wispy orange flowers, is so pretty, hardy and will add color to our garden for months. Thank you to the instructors of the Florida-Friendly Landscaping program at the UF\/IFAS Extension office on South Conway Road for their classes on how to put the right plant in the right place.<\/p>\n
